Wrestling Results: December 13th, 2025

Reading Wrestling sent four freshman wrestlers to Lakota West this weekend for a freshman-only tournament, and the group delivered an outstanding performance. The Blue Devils finished the day with a combined 14–1 record, with all four wrestlers earning podium finishes.

Grayson Searcy went a perfect 3–0 to capture a 1st place finish in his weight class. Hayden Towe also finished 3–0 on the day, earning a 1st place medal. Ethan Davies battled his way to a 4–1 record and a strong 2nd place finish, while Luke Nash capped off the tournament with a 4–0 performance to take 1st place.

The Reading Junior High Wrestling team turned in a strong performance at the Blanchester Invitational, finishing 4th overall with an impressive 13 wrestlers earning podium finishes.

Leading the way for the Blue Devils were tournament champions Lincolnn Cripe, Chase Berry, and Bentley Craig, each securing 1st place finishes in their respective weight classes. Samuel Clay and Dylan Dryer added to the team’s success with runner-up, 2nd place finishes. Kipton Fletcher, Eli Welling, and Kayne Coburn battled their way to 3rd place finishes.

Additional contributors included Ray Moore, Max Morris, and Richard Moraites, who each finished 4th, Vinny Engel with a 5th place showing, and Summer Banker rounding out the placers with a 6th place finish.

With 13 wrestlers placing and a top-four team finish, the Blue Devils showcased their depth, competitiveness, and continued growth as the season moves forward.
