Week At a Glance: May 4th-10th

As we head into another exciting week of Blue Devil athletics, our spring sports teams continue to compete at a high level as the regular season begins to wind down. Varsity Softball enters its final week of the regular season before beginning OHSAA Tournament play next week, while Baseball and Track & Field continue to prepare for the postseason with several important matchups and invitationals on the schedule.

On Monday, we will celebrate our Spring Sports Senior Night at the Hilltop Athletic Complex. Beginning around 4:15 PM on the baseball field, we will recognize our 19 seniors from Baseball, Softball, and Track & Field for their dedication, hard work, and commitment to Reading Athletics throughout their careers as Blue Devils. We invite all family, friends, alumni, and community members to join us as we celebrate these outstanding student-athletes and thank them for everything they have contributed to our programs.

Following Senior Night festivities, Varsity Baseball hosts Wyoming while Varsity Softball takes on Mariemont in a doubleheader at Hilltop. Throughout the week, Softball will also travel to Mercy McAuley, Wyoming, Batavia, and Boone County as they close out the regular season schedule.

Track & Field will compete in several invitationals this week, with the Junior High team traveling to Indian Hill on Wednesday and the High School team competing at the Oak Hills Invitational on Thursday and Saturday.
