Week at a Glance: May 18th-24th

As the spring season continues, several of our Reading Blue Devils teams are now competing in OHSAA postseason play, while our Junior High Track & Field and JV Baseball teams have completed their seasons. Thank you to all of our student-athletes and coaches for their hard work and dedication throughout the spring.

This week, our Varsity Baseball, Softball, and Track & Field teams continue their pursuit of postseason success.

Varsity Softball opens the week on Monday as the Blue Devils host Bethel-Tate in the OHSAA District Semifinals at Hilltop. Please note that first pitch is scheduled for 3:30 PM in order to accommodate Bethel-Tate’s graduation ceremony later that evening. We encourage Blue Devil fans to come out early and support the team as they continue tournament play.

On Wednesday, Varsity Baseball begins postseason competition with an OHSAA D4 Sectional matchup against Roger Bacon. The game will be played at Ross Park with a 4:00 PM first pitch.

Our Track & Field teams will also be competing throughout the week in the OHSAA District Championships. The girls team will compete at Milford High School beginning Wednesday, while the boys team heads to New Richmond High School beginning Thursday.
